I'm a director and DP in Los Angeles. My work is built on photography: thirty years behind a still camera, twenty years directing commercials. I make films people watch to the end.

My work is shared between brands advertising and content direction.

For Brands & Agencies

I direct campaigns worldwide, represented in Spain, the USA and Mexico. Clients include Audi, The Home Depot, Chrysler, Honda, Crayola, Puig and P&G. Spanish-language work for Telcel, Tajín, Las Islas Canarias and Kia.

For Institutions

Universities, healthcare systems, public agencies and tourism boards get what the agency model can't deliver: a director embedded, producing a library instead of a single spot.

At the USC School of Architecture that meant 81 finished films between September and June. Interviews, aerials, timelapses, stills, 360° immersive, motion graphics, and original music composed in-house and owned outright. Scripted, directed, shot, cut, graded, mixed and finished by one person, on site five days a month.

Not one production. A year of them.

It works because of my experience earnt over thirty years. Every role a crew would normally fill is one I've already done professionally.

How I Got Here

I was born in Sydney, Australia. Son of a painter and an interior designer. I grew up between Australia and Europe and studied at the Catalan Institute for Photography. I spent the next years shooting for Volkswagen, Audi, Seat and Renault, winning at Sol and FIAP and taking Audi International's Best Print Ad of the Year. Audi commissioned my first film commercial in 2005. Twenty years on, that photographer's training is exactly why I can hand an institution a year of finished film without the cost of a full crew.

I've lived all over the planet. Los Angeles now. I speak English, Spanish, Danish and some Greek. My biggest accomplishments are my three sons.
